Time Synchronization ICs

In distributed systems, time synchronization is a critical aspect of system operation. It ensures a common understanding of time order across the system, allowing processes to be coordinated accurately and reliably. Some systems use GPS signals to achieve time synchronization. The GPS satellites carry extremely accurate atomic clocks, and a GPS receiver can use the time signals from multiple satellites to synchronize its own clock to GPS time, which is closely aligned with UTC.
